ORFW August Trail Ride: Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

ORFW August trail ride: Daniel Boone Back Country Byway+plus Chimney Top Rock and Skybridge overlooks.

Meeting Location: Slade Rest area, large parking lot. exit 33 of Mountain parkway

Drivers meeting 9am: Roll out 9:15

Trail Rating: easy+ low medium (min of 33" tires recommended due to some possible deeper water crossings)

Itinerary: Depart Slade meeting location and drive to see Chimney Rock,followed by Skybridge.

After Skybridge head into gorge scenic drive over to run trails on the Northern DBBB trails and due minor trail clean.

Ride is open to anyone, and any make and model 4wd with low range. Note: due to time of year contact with over grown brush will happen, resulting in some pinstripes on your rig.

Please bring trash bag/gloves for trail trash clean up.

Pack a lunch and bring cool drinks.

no alcohol is permitted on any ORFW ride.
