ORFW: March Trail ride, Mild

This is our first ride of the 2023 season. Ride is open to anyone, and any make and model 4wd with low range.

Ride is family Friendly so bring the kids, well-behaved dogs are also welcome.

There is no Charge for this ride.

We will be on public roads so a street legal vehicle is needed.

Meeting Time: 9am Drivers Meeting, Roll out 9:15am.

Location: Junior Williamson Rest area. 24 L&E Railroad Pl Slade, KY Exit 33 off Burt T Combs Mountain Parkway Meet in the large parking lot.

Trail Leader will be in White 4dr Wrangler

Difficulty: This will be a Mild trail ride. Perfect for novice drivers in stock rigs or those in more built rigs who just want a nice fun day on the trail. (see trail rating guide for more information, It will posted in event discussion area) We will be on the Daniel Boone Back County By Way. This route will feature a mix of vehicle appropriate rocks, mud and creek crossings.

All rigs need: Front and rear tow point, Full size spare tire, First Aid kit and Fire Extinguisher.

Ride will last till mid to late afternoon. Please pack a lunch to enjoy along the trail. NO Alcoholic beverages are permitted.

Also have a full tank of gas. There are two gas stations at the Slade exit.

NOTE: we have a moderate ride also stagging at this location so when you pull in please let us know so we get you in the correct lineup.

We do ask that you bring a signed ORFW 2023 Wavier of liability with you to ride. (These will be posted in the files section of our Facebook page in early February). If you don't have one we can't let you go with us.
